Assessment of Soil Phosphorus Fractionation Scheme |

Abstract: | Phosphorous fractionation is a method developed to estimate both the size of readily phtoavavilable P pool and the soil ability to replenish the pool. This paper deels with soil phosphorus forms and advances of organic phosphorus bioavailablity and limitations on the traditional soil phosphorus fractionation scheme. Research advances on soil phosphorous fractionation were reiewed, especially the Hedley method,which has become the most widely used P fractionation technique and its modification(Guppy method)were explicitly detailed. |
