| 摘 要： | 介绍了分形这一新兴的数学分支,并讨论了分形理论在土壤科学中的价值和应用。结合相应的模型论述了分形理论在土壤水分特征曲线及在土壤大孔隙流研究中的应用。

| Abstract: | This paper introduced the new branch of math—Fractal, and th e applications of the fractal theory in some branches of soil science as well as its significance were discussed. Several models were also given to illustrate the applications of fractal theory in soil water retention curve and the study o f macropore flow in soil. |
