Viewing the Western Reginon Ecological Construction Based on Experience of Soil and Water Conservation Work of Five Provinces in the Northwest China

Taking comprehensive management of soil and water conservation as the core of ecological construction in western regions and taking slope runoff regulation, control and utilization as the crux is a key point to control soil and water loss and develop the production of agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry. Returning farmlands to trees and grasses should be conducted based on water condition. We should take building capital farmlands as the foundation of returning fannlands to trees and grasses.
