Introduction to hoop structure for finishing pig production

This paper briefly introduced the characteristics of hoop structure.The performance of pigs raised,ani- mal hygiene,and environment quality inside hoop structures were compared with their counterparts in the con- fined animal houses.Bedding management was also included.The analysis obtained the results as follows.Com- paired with the pigs in confined animal house,the pigs in hoop structure are little worse in some producing index. They can basically meet the demand of production.The hoop structure can both save water resources and reduce environmental pollution.It is benefit for sustainable development of pig(industrilization)huslandry.
