Abstract:Two winter wheat cultivars which differed in the freezing tolerance were planted in four soil moisture treatments(soil water content:15%±2%,30%±2%,45%±2% and normal(35%-40%)).The chlorophyll fluorescence parameters(i.e.Fo,Fm,Fv/Fm,Yield) of leaves of winter wheat were measured in six sampling stages of winter.The results showed that comparison between two cultivars showed that Fm,Fv/Fm and Yield of the freezing tolerant cultivar DN1 were higher significantly than those of the cold sensitive cultivar Jimai22 into the frozen stage.Fv/Fm,yield of the two cultivars in normal soil moisture was higher than other water treatments at freezing stage.The Fm value of two cultivars was higher after 20 d since frozen stage.It conclued that Fv/Fm and yield after frozen stage could be used as the indices for evaluating weak or strong in photosynthetic features of winter wheat cultivars under cold temperature.The strong photosynthetic activities in winter wheat leaves under low temperature could be maintained in the soil moisture of 35%-40% before frozen stage.
