新闻写作的美学要求应追求真、善、美的标准。所谓真, 不仅仅是生活真实, 也应在遵循生活真实的原则下, 追求本质真实甚至渗入艺术真实的某些写作元素, 如想象力在新闻叙述中的应用。所谓善, 即新闻写作不应是冷冰冰的客观叙述, 而应有浓厚的人文关怀和主观价值取向, 充满人性的光辉。美,则表现为叙述语言、结构等书写形式中表现出的美学特征。真、善、美的统一是新闻写作的美学最高境界。
