Abstract:Insect communities in young tea gardens,high yield tea grardens,tea cutting gardens and tea specimen gardens were systematically investigated by the 2 month interval surveys in a year.The species and the individuals of pests mostly distributed in the middle layer of tea bushes in all tea gardens, especially,occupying 70% of the whole species and individuals in the cutting gardens and the specimen gardens.As for natural enemies,the species and the individuals mostly distributed in the upper layer of the bushes in the high yield gardens but mostly distributed in the middle layer of the bushes in the other three gardens.Horizontally,pest species mostly distributed in the north of the bushes,and the species and individuals mostly distributed inner the bushes.The natural enemy species and individuals mostly distributed outer the bushes in the high yield gardens but mostly distributed inner the bushes in the other three gardens.The toatl individuals increased from the upper layer of southeast towards the lower layer of northwest.Species reached the maximum in June and October and the minimum in December and February.The community diversities in the gardens sequenced as the specimen gardens >the cutting gardens >the high yield gardens>the young gardens.The community stabilities in the gardens sequenced as the specimen gardens >the cutting gardens>the young gardens>the high yield gardens.
