Exploring the Harmony for Chinese Classic Landscape Design and Modern Landscape Design ——By the Example of Landscape Design of Daguanyuan Hotel in Peking

The Chinese traditional culture has a long history, which is an important treasure-house drawn by the modern landscape design. The thesis takes the landscape design of Daguanyuan hotel in Peking as an example, and focuses on how to inherit and develop the Chinese classic landscape design principle and the space organizing skills combined with the important characteristic of modern landscape design--open space design to meet the demand of the modern city residents and create diversified national space ,which contributes to form special landscape with region character,era character avoiding similar work designed because of the blindness copy.
