广西本科院校图书馆特色数据库分析

通过对广西21所本科院校图书馆自建特色数据库进行深入的调查,发现有17所建有特色数据库,其中,科研成果数据库仅占有3.9%,对特色数据库的利用情况重视不足,大部分数据库访问受限。建议图书馆增加特色数据库利用情况的记录与分析功能,制定合理的外网读者使用特色数据库的规则,加强区域性的特色数据库共建共享,加强学校特色资源数据库的建设。

Analysis of Characteristic Database Construction of Academic Libraries in Guangxi

Through a deep investigation of characteristic database construction by 21 academic libraries in Guangxi,the results showed that 17 hde their own characteristic databases,among which,scientific research databases accounting for 3.9%.The using of characteristic databases was short of recognition,and most characteristic databases unopened to public and so on.It was suggested that academic libraries should add functions of noting and analyzing the using condition of characteristic databases,build rational characteristic database using regulations for outer web readers,strengthen co-construct and share regional characteristic databases,and strengthen the construction of characteristic databases.
