To development a knowledge data base of the network expert system for rice production

Agricultural Expert System (AES) is an intelligentized computer software which is built based on abundance agricultural knowledge, and can do reasoning and decision-making like human agricultural expert. Knowledge data base is a hardcore of AES, and it is a determinant of function of AES. In this paper, the structure and functions and characters of Web-based Rice Production Expert System (WRPES) are introduced, the principles and methods to develop a knowledge data base of WRPES are discussed. And what is dwelt on are how to express knowledge and experience of agricultural (rice) field with a method called "weighted fuzzy production rules".
