白黄瓜新品种蔬研2号的选育

蔬研2号是以白黄瓜97-17强雌性系为母本，白黄瓜2016自交系为父本配制而成的极早熟强雌性白黄瓜杂交种。该品种极早熟，瓜条圆筒形，白色或绿白色，白刺，瘤小而稀，心腔小，果肉厚，耐贮运，瓜长约28em，单瓜质量约280g。耐低温，抗枯萎病、疫病和霜霉病等多种病害。适宜早春大棚早熟促成栽培或春季早熟栽培。每667m^2前期产量约1644．15kg，总产量约4286．52kg。

Breeding of a New White Cucumber Variety -- Shuyan 2

Shuyan 2 is a new early mature cucumber Fl hybrid bred by crossing a sub-gynoecious line 97-17 with a monoecious line 2016. It grows cylindraceous fruit which is of white skin with light-green stripes and white spines , thick flesh and long shelf life, about 28 em in lengtlh and 280 g per fruit. It is tolerant to low temperature and weak light, resistant to fusarium wilt, phytophthora blight and downy mildew, and suitable for spring greenhouse cultivation. It yields about 24.66 t per hm2 during the early stage and 64.30 t per hm2 during the whole stage, respectively.
