| Abstract: | The arthropod community in alfalfa field was surveyed in Xinjiang Region from 1989 to 1990.It is found that the arthropod community cosists of 166 species belonging to 54 families of 13 orders in. 2 classes,among them 77 species are pests to alfalfa,35 species are predators and parasites,10 species are pollinators and 44 species in 15 familes are spider. The optimal sorting method is used}for the analysis of its temporal pattern. The characteristics of the pests and natural enemies occuring in each stage and the corresponding management tactics are discussed. Principal component analysis method is used for approaching the arthropod community succession with the growth period. |
