The need to study the no-load loss of the electric car＇s motor is firstly described~ then the principle of no-load loss is analyzed, the test method of no-load loss is introduced, the data of the no-load loss testing from different type motors with and without controller is enumerated and analyzed, finally the criteria of no-load loss of the electric car＇s motor is concluded. It has an extremely important significance for the drive motor＇s matching design of the electric car.
