The determination of cutting productivity of chainsaw is always made by hand. So. it is difficult to control the best operating mode and the precision is low. The paper puts forward a new method of dynamic determination with many parameters. The method uses special sensor and computer, changes every kind of cutting parameters continuously and gets the optimal combination of the highest cutting productivity and its parameters.
