Study on Fattening Performance of Crossbredwith Different Beef Cattle Breeds

【Objective】To observe the fattening effects of different crossbred beef cattle.【Method】Twenty crossbred Simmental Steers(native breed ×Simmenta1),Limousine Steers(native breed ×Limousine),and Native Breed aged about 20 months with the body weight of 300±20.5 kg from each breeds were selected in the experiment.Maize silage and Alfalfa hay were as roughage And 3 months of short term fattening were carried out to study the correlation between the effect of fatten and breeds,then to analyze the indicators of the slaughter.【Result】The results showed that crossbred Simmental Steers and Limousine Steers were higher in average daily gain and feed efficiency(P<0.01).Simmental steers had higher daily gain and feed conversion ratio,and the difference was significant.(P<0.05).The proportion of slaughtering indexes and the meat cutting blocks accounted for carcass had a certain relationship with the genetic factors,but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).【Conclusion】 The popularization of hybridization of different cattle had good value.
