| 摘 要： | 介绍了0ntology（本体论）和语义网的概念，探讨了本体论可被数字图书馆领域特别是信息检索领域利用，服务于数字图书馆的信息组织与检索方式。在检索方面，数字图书馆储藏的多为多媒体的信息，甚至是多语种的。本体论也可以是多语种的。可以对多语种的语义检索提供基础条件。

| Abstract: | In this paper, the concepts of Ontology and semantic net are introduced and a discussion is made on the application of ontology to the digital library field, information retrieval in particular and on the information organization and retrieval method in case of such application to a digital library. Regarding the information retrieval, the digital library stores mostly multimedia information, even in various classifications of languages. Ontology may also be in various classifications of languages, which provides the base for semantic retrieval of multiple languages. |
