联合收割机是结构复杂的大型农业机械，为提高其使用寿命和使用效率，应做好日常保养和休闲保管工作。日常保养，重点要做好每班作业后的清理与检查，按规范对机械各部件进行润滑，紧固各联结件。进入闲置期的保管，重点要做好冲洗与防锈、拆卸与分存、支撑与减负，蓄电池要卸下单独养护、存放。
