Abstract: | ![]() A 4-year-old ewe with weight loss, anorexia, and high liver enzyme activities was diagnosed at necropsy as having cholangiocellular carcinoma that had metastasized to kidneys, adrenal glands, heart, lungs, mediastinum, and peritoneal surface of the diaphragm. Cholangiocellular carcinoma is an uncommon neoplasm of sheep. Evaluation of liver tissue obtained via ultrasound-guided percutaneous liver biopsy had suggested an antemortem diagnosis of adenocarcinoma of the liver. |
