Abstract: | An established population of Thrips hawaiiensis (Morgan) (Thysanoptera: Thripidae), a species originating from Asia and the Pacific, is reported for the first time in the Western Palaeartic zone (in the South of France). Notes relating to the current geographical distribution, identification, biology and risk of establishment of this potentially invasive species in Europe are provided. |
