| Abstract: | This review introduces our recent research progress of lignin biodegradation and its applications. It analyzes and illustrates the structure of lignin and lignin degrading enzymes, the molecular biology of lignolytic organisms and the enzymes they create, and the application of lignin biodegradation to paper industry and environmental protection. |
