Experiment of Suitable Rhizosphere Moisture to Cucumber During Fruiting Period in Greenhouse

Experiment results displayed that 80%-90% was a optimum water content for cucumber (cu-cumis sarivus)growth and physiological characteristics and yield in greenhouse, water deficit or excessive-ness would retarded the growth and development of cucumber, and reduced the yield. The relationship between yield and water consumption was analyzed, and the optimal ET was about 369 mm during cucumber growth period. In this experiment, the result showed that water excessiveness might be a reason of placing a premium on root knot nematodes (meloidogyne goeldi).
