Strategies of Pest, Disease and Weed prevention in Organic vegetable Production

For environmental safety, it is essential to produce organic vegetables. In this article, some strategies and techniques concerning pest, disease and weed prevention during vegetable production were presented. The studies include vegetable rotation, proper application of fertilizers, introducing the newly-developed biological and physical methods such as the application of natural pesticides, and the effective measurements of weed prevention. Combing these techniques with the regulation of growth and development of vegetables, the resistance of vegetables to pest, disease and weed would be improved, and the goal of production of high-quality organic vegetables would be reached.
