西葫芦新品种东葫4号的选育

东葫4号是以自交系04-28为母本,以自交系01-2为父本杂交育成的西葫芦一代杂种。早熟,山西南部春露地从播种到采收250g左右的嫩瓜需43d(天)。植株长势旺,株型半蔓生,开展度大。第1雌花节位为第6~7节,雌花多,成瓜率高,1株3~4个瓜可同时生长。商品瓜长筒形、皮色翠绿、光泽度好。田间抗病毒病能力较对照早青一代及皮托4094强,抗白粉病能力较对照早青一代强。每667m2产量5600kg左右。适宜山西早春及秋延后保护地及露地生产。

A New Squash F1 Hybrid —‘Donghu No.4’

‘Donghu No.4’ is a new squash F₁ hybrid developed by crossing inbred line‘ 04-28’ as female parent，and‘ 01-2’ as male parent. It is of early maturity. It takes about 43 days from seeding to harvesting fruit about 250 g. The plant has strong growth vigor and semi trailing plant type. The first female flower sets on the 6-7th node. It has many female flowers and its fruit setting ratio is high，3-4 fruits per plant. The commercial fruit is of long cylinder shape，with light green，shining peel. It has stronger resistance to virus disease than the contrast‘Zaoqingyidai’ and‘ Pituo4094’，and stronger resistance to powdery mildew than the contrast‘ Zaoqingyidai’ in field.‘ Donghu No.4’ can yield 84 t·hm^-2 and is suitable for early spring and late autumn cultivation in protected and open fields in Shanxi Province.
