中国南方草地开发现状及发展战略

随着人口压力增大和北方草地的严重退化,21世纪南方草地将成为我国畜牧业的主要基地。分析了中国南方草地资源的开发利用现状,研究了目前存在的一些问题,并在此基础上提出:未来一段时间内我国南方草业的发展应由中高山地区向丘陵地区转移,建立草地农业生态系统;要充分发挥南方的独特优势,走规模化、集约化、产业化的草业发展道路;同时,应从传统的自然资源管理方式转变为生态系统管理的方式,以促进南方草业的可持续发展,维持其生态系统产品和服务功能的可持续性。

Present status and developing strategy of grassland in South China

Facing the fact that the population increases rapidly and the grassland in North China is degenerating badly,the grassland in South China would be the most important base for livestock production in the 21st century.Based on the analysis of present status and problems presenting in the exploitation and utilization of grassland in South China,the author pointed out that the emphases of the development of prataculture in South China should be changed from mountain areas to the hilly areas timely in the next decades.With the inimitable advantage of South China,scale,intensive and industrialized prataculture should be developed.Instead of traditional natural resource management,ecosystem management should be used to promote the sustainable development of southern prataculture and maintain the sustainability of ecosystem products and services function.
