| Abstract: | Multivariant function＇s conditional extreme is an important content of higher mathematics and has wide practical applications. It is solved by Lagrange multiplier method according to general teaching material, but its large calculation is troublesome. It is well known that vocational students are poor in mathematics, some simple and understandable methods should be adopted in the mathematics teaching. This paper introduces three special methods about conditional extreme combining with engineering and economic examples and gives their applicable scope. |
