| Abstract: | In seeking new fodder resources leaves of 25 Eucalyptus species grown in South China were analysed and nutritive ingredients, amino acid contents and microelements were determined by GB6432-6438-86 analytical methods for feeds. Nutritive values were assessed by feeding tests. The results show that some Eucalyptus leaves possess feeding value and can be used as feed additives. When raising swine the weight of the trial animals was 6 % more than control and the digestibility of the fodder was also improved. |
