Abstract:The three components of resistance of two varieties,to rice blasti.e.the infection probability(IP),the rate of lesion expansion (LSR)and the capacity of sporulation (SPC),were measured at four growthstages under the controlled conditions.Results showed that resistanceof varieties varied with the critical growth stages.The values of IP,LSR and SPC are the biggest at seedling,tillering and booting stagesrespectively.The components which greatly influence the resistance areIP and SPC.The synthetical evaluation for resistance of growth stageswas carried on by the model of figure of probability.The conclusion isthat tillering stage is susceptable and seedling stage is less,and bootingand jointing stages are the least.The expression of synthetical re-sistance of the varieties tested in chambers coincides with that infields.
