The results of the research indicate that five methods, those are K KI method?Carmine method?TTC method?Peroxidase(POD) deposit method and medium vitro germination method, are all suited to test the viability of the fresh pollens in hot pepper. While testing the viability of the store pollen, only can the TTC method and medium vitro germination method be used. No mattar what the sources of the hot pepper pollens, their viabilities are tested, the result of vitro germination method, the most straight and steadiest, is the best way of testing the viability of hot pepper pollen.
