Application of Gold Immunochromatographic Technique in Detection of Animal Viral Infectious Diseases

Since the advent of colloidal gold labeling technique,with several advantages,it has been extensively applied in various biological fields,such as gestation detection,infectious diseases,drugs,food security and veterinary medicine.As for the field of veterinary medicine,it has been applied in the detection of animal parasites,bacteria,viruses and veterinary drug residues.This paper summarized the basic principle of gold immunochromatographic technique and the common methods for testing antibodies and antigens,and introduced the application of gold immunochromatographic technique in detection of animal virus antigens and antibodies in details.The techinque may have wide uses in detection of animal viral infectious diseases.
