摘    要:鲁麦14号是20世纪90年代初期黄淮冬麦区种植面积最大的小麦品种之一,1996年获国家科技进步二等奖。本文以鲁麦14号的成功选育为例,论述了种质资源遗传信息的捕捉、关键遗传资源的发现及创新策略在品种改良中的重要性,并对小麦遗传育种面临的挑战与对策进行了讨论。

Abstract:Lumai 14 was a wheat variety whose sown area was the largest in the winter wheat area of the Huanghuai Plain in the early 1990s.It was awarded the second prize of the National Science and Technology Advancement in 1996.We thought that it was important to obtain the genetic information of germplasm resource,to discover the key genetic materials and to develop strategy to improve the breeding of wheat.This paper also discussed the challenge we faced in genetic breeding and the ways to meet it.
