| Abstract: | Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR)is a new non-penetrating method that can be conducted rapidly out of soil moisture out of a penetrating radar.As a large-scale soil moisture detection method,GPR has a wide application prospect in detecting soil moisture.In this paper,a large number of research methods of detecting soil water content by GPR at home and abroad are summarized and analyzed.At present,the methods of detecting soil water content by GPR mainly include reflected wave method,ground wave method,surface reflection coefficient method and borehole radar method,among which the reflected wave method is more commonly used.Through the overview of the different methods and research status of using GPR to detect soil moisture content at home and abroad,the principles,advantages and disadvantages of these four methods of using GPR to detect soil moisture content are described in detail.At last,through a large number of related researches,the results shows that using the GPR method is feasible in detecting soil moisture content,which provides a theoretical basis for using GPR to detect soil moisture content. |
