| Abstract: | Bamboos are plants of great decorative value and aesthetic image in traditional culture. Because some characteristics in the plants coincide well with certain traditional noble personalities in human beings,such as bamboo stems with nodes, upright shapes and holes may symbolize moderate,just and modest morals respectively. Bamboos are often anthropomorphized to express man's inner feelings. Therefore, they are of humanistic beauty. |
