| Abstract: | This review deals with the studies on the biological activity and its relationship with pathogenecity of the pathogen; molecular structure and its relationship with biological activity; physical properties,action modes and their use in the identification of resistance against the toxin producing pathogen and in the screening of somaclonal variants for better resistance in this country and abroad. Several problems are suggested for further research. |
