新一代桑品种产质量比较试验

为了增加单位面积桑园的经济效益，提高蚕桑产业的竞争能力，桐乡市于1998年引进近年新育成桑品种22个，经3年种植初选，将8个品种的成林桑，于2001—2002年连续2年作产质量、抗性和农艺性状的比较签定试验，筛选出了新一代4个桑树优良品种：丰田2号、农桑14号、农桑12号和育71—1，与荷叶白相比，单位面积桑园产叶量增加22.3％—34．9%，万头蚕收茧量增加5．3%—10．1％，万头蚕产茧层量增加10.5％—14.0%，抗逆性强，农艺性状好，适宜于杭加湖和相应蚕桑地区种植及推广。

Evaluation on Yield and Quality of the New Generation Mulberry Varieties

Twenty-two newly bred mulberry varieties was introduced into Tongxiang City in1998for the purpose of increasing economic profits per unit of mulberry area and promoting sericultural industry.Eight varieties were selected in the primary experiment through three years' plantation.Identification experi-ments were carried out on yield and quality,resistance and agronomic traits among selected varieties of es-tablished mulberry garden.Four good mulberry varieties were found,they are FengTian2,NongSang14,NongSang12and Yu71-l.When these new mulberry varieties were used,leaf yield per unit of mulberry area increased by22.3%-34.9%,cocoon yield per10,000silkworm increased by5.3%-10.1%,cocoon shell weight per10,000silkworm increased by10.5%-14.0%if compare with HeYeBai.Furthermore,these varieties are highly resistant and good in agronomic traits and suitable to be planted in Hang-Jia-Hu and other sericulturalregions.
