| Abstract: | This article summarizes aesthetic thought of water scenes in chinese traditional gardens, including landscape metaphor of the wise and the good, learning from nature, Feng Shui, poetry, poetic imagery etc. Forms of water scenes in chinese traditional gardens includes lake, pool, marsh,stream, spring etc. Art of water scenes includes processing methods of form, color, sound and layout with combination of dynamics and statics. |
