江西两种棉金钢钻(Earias cupreoviridis Walk.及Earias fabia Stall.)生活习性的初步研究

鼎点金鋼钻和翠纹金鋼钻是江西棉花蕾、鈴期发生普遏为害严重的两种害虫。一般自6月中旬至8月中旬期間,棉田内以鼎点金鋼钻发生数量最大,翠紋金鋼钻較少;8月下旬以后,鼎点金鋼钻迅速下降,翠紋金鋼钻驟然上升,并占绝对优势。鼎点金鋼钻以蛹越冬,年生5—6代,以第2、3代为害最烈;翠紋金鋼钻的越冬問題尚不明确,年生4—5代,以第3、4代为害最烈。在防治上,春季及时处理冬寒菜、蜀葵等植物上为害的鼎点金鋼钻,压低早春基数;在栽培技术上加强棉田管理,促进棉花早熟;在金鋼钻严重发生期内,及时噴射E-605与25％二二三乳剂或6％r可湿性666与25％二二三乳剂混合液,可以有效地減輕两种金鋼钻的为害。

PRELIMINRY STUDIES ON THE COTTON DIAMOND BOLL-WORMS, EARIAS CUPREOVIRIDIS WK. & E. FABIA STALL. IN KIANGSI

In Kiangsi, there are two species of cotton boll-worm, Earias cupreociridis Wk. and E. fabia Stall., which injure seriously cotton production. They first attack the tip-sprouts and then the squares, flowers and bolls. From mid June to mid Aughst the number of individuals of E. cupreoviridis Wk. is predominent to that of E. labia, and after late August the latter one rapidly gets to a greater propulation. E. cupreoviridis passes the winter in pupal stage, and there are 5-6 generations per year, among them the 2nd and 3rd ones are most injurious. So far the over-wintering stage of E. fabia is unknown, all individuals are dead at the end of December, it has 4-5 generation per year, the 3rd and 4th generation attack the cotton plant seriously.
