观光农业是以农业为基础，农业和旅游业相结合的一种交叉型新兴产业。欧美一些发达国家观光农业已具有相当规模，并且呈现出极强的生命力和极大的发展前途。中国的观光农业自20世纪80年代末期以来，也呈现良好的发展热头。四川省既是人口大省又是农业大省，观光农业资源丰富多样，但由于起步较晚，目前还处于初期阶段。通过分析四川省观光农业资源优势、类型及分布，探讨了其未来健康、高速发展的对策措施。
