| Abstract: | Modified sisal fibre-natural rubber composites and their processing characteristics were investigated including modification method of natural sisal fiber,surface pretreatment by latice and dispersive agent,and selection of bonding system. We also observed the effect of fibre volume loadings on mechanical properties of the composites.Our results indicate that the fibre can be mixed with natural rubber very well and the bonding strength is good enough, showing expected properties of the composites. |
