This paper reviews the development in the field of food irradiation with practical application wholesomeness,necessity and prospects.Guangxias an agricultural province.She has in large amounts of agricultural products.The development prospects of food industry will be broadly.The technology of radiosterilization can gives service to economic construction directly in Guangxi,which is reducing contaminate and losses of food products.Now under the circumstances of rapid developing in irradiation processing abroad and inside country,the authors thought it must be possible prepare to constructing Guangxi irradiation centre as soon as, expanding the ability of irradiation processing,enlarging rate of this science research,so thatit can be promote commercialization of irradiation food products,runs into the level in our own country by studying fresh or dry fruit products,vegetables,marine products,etc.
