辽宁省桑蚕生产县栽桑养蚕史略考

辽宁省栽桑养蚕兴起于明清时代，延续４００多年来在一些山村已形成传统副业。建国后政府大力发展，但由于蚕茧价格偏低、政策多变，此项生产几起几落。实行市场经济茧价上涨，栽桑养蚕业呈发展趋势，如能因地制宜形成一定规模效益，栽桑养蚕必将成为农村致富的一个产业，并成为创汇农业的一个组成部分。

The history of planting mulberry and culturing silkworm in Liaoning province was originated from the Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty in the past 400 years,the traditional sideline production of sericulture had been taken shape in some village in the province. After liberation, the sericulture was developed greatly by the government.But for the low price policy of cocoon, the production of silkworm sloppeed for many time.Recently, the sericulture has made great progress because that the price of cocoon goes up. If the production could get the scale benefit, the sericulture would become one part of making money and export orented agriculture in the countryside of Laoning province.
