| Abstract: | The paper ,starting from the harmonious viewpoint of resources , environment ,popula-tion and development deals with the semi-desert sandy Land in the middle and northparts of Yanchi County, Ningxia. Firstly,the authors analyses in detail the favorable condi-tions in natural resources such as land, grassland, oil and gas. The second part of the paperis about regional development,where following items have been stressed :①intensive ani-mal husbandry;②specialty products,such as medical herbs,beverages,oil crops and seedssources;③Processing industries. In the end of the paper, the authors give their pointsabout the prerequisites for the regional economic development,such as transportation,en-ergy,policy,qualified personnel. |
