小麦丛矮病的病毒寄主范围研究初报

 通过生物测试和电镜检查,明确小麦丛矮病的病毒感染寄主植物是小麦、春麦、燕麦、大麦、谷子、高粱、画眉草、大画眉草、牛筋草、狗尾草、金色狗尾草、虎尾草等十二种。非感染植物是水稻、玉米、毛马唐、黑麦草及棉花。稗草和早熟禾待进一步研究。

PRELIMINARY STUDIES ON THE HOSTS RANGE OF WHEAT ROSETTE DISEASE CAUSED BY NORTHERN CEREAL MOSAIC VIRUS

The present paper deals with the studies of the host range of wheat rosette disease (northern ce-real mosaic virus) which is transmited by Laodelphax striatella. Diagnosis was made both with electron-microscopic studies and biological assays. As a result, it was demonstrated that 12 species namely:Eragrostis piloso (L) Beauv, Eragrostis cilianensis (All) Link, Eleusine indica (L) Gaerth, Chloria virgata Swartz, Avena sativa L, Setaria italics (L) Beauv, Setaria viridis (L) Beauv, Setaria luiesens (Weigel) F.T. Hubb, Hordeum vulgare L. Triticum aestivum L. (Win-ter wheat and Spring wheat) Sorghum vulgare Pers. are hosts, while Oryza sativa L, Zea nays L, Lolium perenne L, Digitaria sanguinalis (L) Scop var.Ciliaris (Retz) Parl. and Gossypium hirstum L. usually suspected to be hosts of the virus, was demonstrated as non-host. Echinochloa crusagalli (L) Beauv and Poa sp need further tests on their ausceptibity to the virus.
