| Abstract: | Forestry is a social and public welfare undertaking with industrial attributes, which always plays a key role in improving environment and promoting development. As a strong impetus to impel forestry productivity, the new forestry scientific and technological revolution is a fundamental means and the hope of realizing the leaping forestry development in the 21st century. From historical and actual viewpoints of scientific and technological revolution and development,the paper elaborates the basic characteristics, connotations and breaches of the new forestry scientific and technological revolution facing the new century, and explores the main means to realize the new forestry scientific and technological revolution. |
