Study on Balance between Supply and Demand for Timber and Timber Products in China

Based on the forest resources, supply and demand for timber as well as the demand tendency of timber in China, this article studies how to achieve the balance of supply and demand by self-support and indicates that developing fast growing forest plantations to get more timber, using timber and forest resources efficiently and economically, enlarging resources of raw materials, exploring and using bio- mass resources for bio-based composites are efficient ways to fill the gap between supply and demand for timber and timber products in China.
