| Abstract: | The production of pro-inflammatory cytokine,such as interleukin-1 and tumor necrosis factor,is critical in the response to infection.However,overproduction of the cytokines might be harmful.It was suggested that n-3 fatty acid suppressed inflammation and improved the course of infection through the decreasing of the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. |
