The reasons that the good-quality hybrid rice Zhongyou 9 plant easily lodge are analysized in this paper.Accordingly,some lodging-prevention technique measures are put forward.They are:(a) Cultivating strong multi-tiller seedlings;(b) Reasonable densely planting and reducing occurrence of insect pests;(c) Timely exposing paddy field to sun,controlling ineffecient tillers and strictly controlling application of amount of nitrogen;(d) Timely applying silicon and kalium fertilizer,and improving structure of rice plants;(e) Carefully monitoring and evualuating trends of the occurrence of insect pest so as to prevent and control insect pest;(f) Timely and appropriate application of pesiticide 920;(g) Timely harvesting of paddy rice in sunny days in order to prevent lodging of rice plant.
