宠物犬养殖与粮食安全的思考

针对粮食安全问题对宠物犬养殖管理提出建议:引起政府及公众对宠物犬养殖与粮食安全的关注;对北京市通州区宠物犬(犬类)养殖和粮食消耗情况进行问卷调查,包括养犬人员的性别组成、年龄结构、养犬数量、犬型结构、耗粮情况和登记与否等内容;北京市通州区养犬182204只,犬型结构城市以小型犬为主体、农村以大、中型犬为主体,全区养犬年消耗谷物类粮食42097t,需0.77万hm2土地生产的粮食来养活;全国需要636.13万hm2土地来养活宠物犬,宠物犬与人类争地争粮争水的局面严峻。建议加强对宠物犬养殖的管理,严格控制总量增长,减少大中型犬类养殖,缓解犬类与人类争地争粮争水的局面。

There are 182 204 dogs in Tongzhou, among which small dogs account for the main part of the dogs in urban while large and medium ones account for the main part in rural. Annual consumption of cereal food is 42 097 tons which requires 7.7 thousand hectares of land to produce in Tongzhou. It needs 6.4 million hectares of land throughout the country to feed the pet dogs. The situation is grim that canine contentions land, food and water with human. Therefore, we propose to strengthen the management and breeding of pet dogs, strictly control the total amount of growth, to reduce the large and medium dog breeding, and to alleviate the situation that canine contentions land, food and water with human.
