应用硫氟磺酰胺毒饵防治红火蚁

摘    要:应用硫氟磺酰胺毒饵在广西陆川防治25hm^2红火蚁的结果表明,施药后3d蚁巢内即有红火蚁个体死亡。施药后7、14、21d的防治效果分别可达81.5%,93.9%和100%;施药后余下的顽固蚁巢和7d后出现的新蚁巢经再度施药后14d全部死亡;从5月23日到11月25日蚁群全部死亡的5欢监测、调查,既诱捕不到工蚁,也没有发现新蚁巢。因此,硫氟磺酰胺毒饵不仅具有高效、快速、安全、使用方便等特点,而且硫氟磺酰胺的应用完全可以取代目前国外普遍使用的二步施药法中的灌巢法。

Abstract:The fire ant,Solenopsis invicta Buren(Hymenoptera:Formicidae) might invade the Luchuan County of Guangxi Province around the year of 2001.Bait with the ingredient of N-butyl perfluorooctane sulfonamide(N-BPS) was immediately applied to control the fire ant as soon as it was identified and confirmed at May 4,2005.The field investigation showed that the bait acted rapidly and effectively.Large number of individuals of various castes of the colony died inside or outside the mount 310 days after application.The extinguish process of a colony was shown as the decrease in number of workers and alates,and the gradual lost of viability and mount-defense capacity of the workers.The control efficacy reached 81.5% and 93.9% one and 2 weeks after application and all of the colonies were completely eradicated 3 weeks after application,respectively.The 3 new mounts occurred in the monitored areas at one week after application disappeared soon after the bait was applied again.No new mount and worker had been discovered by November 25 of the year since all the colonies were eradicated at May 23.These results suggested that the N-BPS bait is an effective agent against S.invicta.Furthermore,mount drenches,the second step of the two-step method,which is widely used in the USA and Australia,is unnecessary when the N-BPS bait was properly applied.
