| Abstract: | This paper reviewed the origin, development, definition, and core ideas of evidence-based medicine (EBM), the EBM practice and its main steps as well as the relations between the EBM practice and medical literature retrieval. Besides, the author expounded opportunities and challenges that EBM brought to medical libraries and put forward some suggestions on how to grasp the opportunities and meet the challenges for them. |
