Analysis on the Development Status and Advantages of Luzhou to Build the Dominant Regional Center of Late-Maturing Longan in the World

This study started from the development status of late-maturing longan industry in Luzhou in Sichuan province,and analyzed the cultivation history,ancient tree resources,ecological conditions,longan maturity period,location and other advantages.Compared with other production areas of late-maturing longan,it was pointed out that Luzhou had the obvious advantages of becoming the dominant regional center of late-maturing longan in the world,because of its large-scale production,good industrial foundation,excellent ecological conditions,solid technical force,remarkable brand construction effect,and high degree of industrial cluster.This study provided a theoretical basis for the establishment of Luzhou as the dominant regional center of late-maturing longan in the world.
